Static Flare

The static flare is a robust unit specifically designed for direct installation onto gas well heads. The unit is designed to run off electrical mains and boasts a quick and easy installation time. Despite its simple design and installation, the static flare is equipped with a flame arrestor to ensure safety requirements are met.

APPLICATIONS

The static flare is ideal for landfills and coal mine situations where gas is depleting and gas supply is irregular. Due to its timed, continuous spark design, the flare will ignite and combust gas whenever it is available. This ability makes the static flare ideally suited to:

  • Landfill gas migration prevention
  • Burning off depleting gas volumes in gas wells
  • The static flare is constructed from heat-resistant materials and can easily combust low calorific methane at high temperatures (between 480 - 700oC)
  • Combust methane concentrations of 25% vol. upwards.

CUSTOMISABLE

The static flare's ignition system runs off 120V mains electricity supply but can be customised to operate independently off solar panels in remote locations.
